How a point of view took shape
A curiosity that began in one city grew — across countries, communities and brands — into the way he works today.

2009New York · Times Square
A first impression of the screens
The lights of Times Square were one of Berke's first encounters with advertising. Giant screens facing every direction showed him, up close, how a brand can stand out from a crowd and stay in people's minds.

2012Istanbul
First digital experiments
In 2012 the curiosity turned practical. He started learning to code, working out how websites run and experimenting with ideas for selling online: how does an idea reach people who have never heard of it?
How advertising catches attention and how things get built became two halves of the same question.

High school yearsIstanbul · MEF High School
Film and project work
In high school he took part in short-film and project work in French, Spanish and English. Telling an idea through images, making things as part of a team and making them understood in another language introduced him to creative production before marketing.
His short films won first place at international short film competitions run by the French Consulate and by the Spanish Consulate with the Instituto Cervantes. On 1 March 2018, the MEF High School team also won first place at the International French-Language Project Competition of the French Ministry of Culture in Paris; Berke was part of that team.

2018Zanesville, Ohio
Building ties in a new place
In 2018 he went to Ohio as an exchange student and made a place for himself at a new school, among new people. That year he was chosen as his school's Homecoming King — a personal memory of arriving from outside and becoming part of a community.

2019George Mason University
Adding business discipline to curiosity
University at George Mason, beginning in 2019, brought Berke to the Washington, D.C. area. Studying business with a focus on marketing connected his interest in creative work with how companies operate and how people make decisions.
On campus he saw people from different countries read the same idea in different ways — an observation that also shaped the communities he went on to build there.

University yearsBRASA GMU
A Brazilian community, founded by a student from Istanbul
With the support of BRASA members, Berke founded the Brazilian student club at George Mason. A student from Istanbul building a community around Brazilian culture in the United States shows what a cross-cultural outlook looks like in everyday life, not just on paper.
Founding a club meant inviting people in, organising the first gatherings and keeping them coming back. It carried the organising, follow-through side of communication into his working life.

Putting ideas to work for real brands
As Marketing Director at Turkish Coffee Lady, he worked on the US communication of a brand built around Turkish coffee: how to tell a cultural tradition to a different audience became concrete, day-to-day work.
Content marketing at uLouder and marketing at Sodexo showed him, up close, the different stages an idea goes through before it reaches people.

2024BEMACCI
Turning experience into a way of working
Berke founded BEMACCI in 2024 — and ran its first advertising on the same Times Square screens that had captivated him as a child. El sueño del niño: the boy's dream, back on those screens as his own agency's work.
The question that began in Times Square, together with what he had learned from films, communities and brands, became a way of working.
At BEMACCI, a brand's position, the story it tells, the content it produces and the campaigns it runs are handled together. The starting point is to be clear about who the brand wants to reach and why it should matter to them.

TodayBeşiktaş, Istanbul · Worldwide
From Beşiktaş to the world
Back in Istanbul since 2026, Berke works with brands anywhere in the world through BEMACCI. The experience he built across different countries is the basis of that global outlook: available worldwide.
His view on SI (Super Intelligence) is clear: access to the tools is now easy for everyone; the difference comes from strategy, from really understanding the audience and from ideas people remember. That is why BEMACCI takes an SI-enhanced approach: the tools speed up research and production, and people make the decisions.
